Feeling Nostalgic with Chie Mihara

Chie Mihara is a world renown shoe designer that reminds us of the 1940′s style. Some of us wished we lived in that bygone era; dressing up in colorful patterns with contrasting trims or in a Victory or Utility suit, styling hair with pin curls or finger waves, accessorising with a beret off to the side of the head or wearing no hat at all. Women have always accessorised their outfits with shoes, even though this may sound plain and simple; you can never go wrong with shoes! The 1940's women wore the notable wedge, a few of the styles were a wedge sole, it was all one piece which gave a moderate and conservative height.

For the purpose of dressing up, everyday wear or just wanting to feel very feminine, Chie Mihara definitely delivers! Not only are her shoes meant for style but they’re also meant for comfort with cushioned insoles.
